Senior Consultant, IT (MSP)

You would work from our downtown Tampa, FL office as well as various client sites around the Tampa Bay area.

As a Senior Consultant - MSP within our IT practice, you will need to have a strong technical background, solid analytical skills, and proven problem-solving experience. The job will entail administering client projects, including project planning and closing projects. You will use your interpersonal skills to communicate with customers and provide a solution to their technical problems quickly and professionally.   

Responsibilities

• Lead by example promoting good practices on the team and assist other technicians
• Serve as a consultant to client by recommending, architecting and implementing solutions custom to each client
• Complete projects such as Microsoft 365 migrations
• Configure and support firewall systems
• Implementation of Microsoft systems, virtualization cloud, and workstation projects
• Implementation of network-level projects: WAN, LAN, and Wi-Fi connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
• Work with the Project Manager to plan and document project delivery (Implementation and Schedule)
• Complete the approved project plan document and obtain sign off from the Project Manager
• Implement assigned projects based on the documented project delivery plan
• Participate in on-call rotation 

Requirements

• 2+ years experience working at a Managed Service Provider; required
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience with cloud technologies and preferably Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (setup, configuration, design and troubleshoot)
• Experience leading small projects including project planning
• Intermediate networking, application, infrastructure and security skills
• Microsoft 365 Migration experience
• Excellent trouble shooting skills
• Ability to travel to a client site; sometimes without advanced notice (downtown garage parking is paid and mileage will be reimbursed)
