Job Description

As a Security Officer - Warehouse Site - Overnight Shift in Moreno Valley, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment within a transportation-focused location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols of designated areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing Allied Universal training and protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance needs observed during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or monitoring entry and exit points as necessary for the transportation environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
