About the role
Summary
The Postdoctoral Associate is expected to lead the research independently while maintaining constant communication with PIs, publish manuscripts, and apply for career development grants. Develops statistical and generative AI models for single-cell and spatial data from the Martin Lab and multimodal (genetic, imaging, and clinical) data from biobanks.

Job Duties
- Tailors custom state-of-the art AI models for in-house data.
- Evaluates critically the biological plausibility of AI models and develops new models guided by these analyses.
- Participates in workshops/sessions on scientific communication and grant writing.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in computational biology, medical informatics, or relevant areas.
- Has strong ML/AI programming skills (Python: PyTorch, numpy, pandas) and R.
- Fluent in using UNIX.
- Publications in related journals is a plus.
