About the role

We can offer you the following tasks

 

  • Analysis of extensive field data of vessel operation
  • Semantic segmentation into different operating modes
  • Identification of steady & transient load profiles
  • Optimized allocation of steady & transient loads to power sources (combustion
    engines, battery energy storage system, fuel cell) according to their dynamic properties
  • Evaluation of the results in terms of fuel savings, emission reduction and economic efficiency of an optimized hybrid-electric concept in comparison to a conventional combustion drive system
  • Design of a flexible tool for an automated optimization & evaluation of marine hybridelectric
    drive concepts for arbitrary use cases

 

 

You can help us with these qualifications

 

  • Solid background in data science, software engineering, mechanical engeneering and/or electrical engineering
  • Basic knowledge of python programming is advantageous
  • Good communication skills to align different departments & disciplines
