About the role
We can offer you the following tasks
- Analysis of extensive field data of vessel operation
- Semantic segmentation into different operating modes
- Identification of steady & transient load profiles
- Optimized allocation of steady & transient loads to power sources (combustion
engines, battery energy storage system, fuel cell) according to their dynamic properties - Evaluation of the results in terms of fuel savings, emission reduction and economic efficiency of an optimized hybrid-electric concept in comparison to a conventional combustion drive system
- Design of a flexible tool for an automated optimization & evaluation of marine hybridelectric
drive concepts for arbitrary use cases
You can help us with these qualifications
- Solid background in data science, software engineering, mechanical engeneering and/or electrical engineering
- Basic knowledge of python programming is advantageous
- Good communication skills to align different departments & disciplines
