Job Summary
Working closely with the Head of People & Culture, the People & Culture Advisor is an integral part of the team, responsible for supporting and advising on a wide range of people issues to reinforce a highly engaged performance culture. With the support of the global People & Culture team, this role is responsible for advising our people on all operational HR including, recruitment and selection, training and development, performance, employee engagement, employee relations, wellbeing, reward and benefits, and all people policies and procedures.
It is vital you develop and maintain good working relationships across the business with managers and employees alike, providing excellent customer service and managing the day-to-day people activity.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Working with the People & Culture team to provide an excellent level of service to people managers and employees, bringing the people agenda to life and embedding our people initiatives.
- Advising, guiding and coaching line managers and employees on all people related issues in line with our People policies, employment law, best practice, our business environment and individual circumstances in order to improve business efficiency and people management.
- Supporting the Head of People & Culture, managing employee relations, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and leavers and developing employee engagement, building management responsibility and capability.
- Providing support with transformation and transactional activities, such as change management initiatives, departmental restructures, role design, talent management and learning and development.
- Supporting the operational management of the recruitment and selection cycle; working with the people managers from resource request authorization to induction and onboarding. You manage the applicant tracking system, shortlist and interview, organize selection events and make offers.
- Continuously monitor and review HR documentation, policies and processes and implement changes where necessary alongside the team.
- Working with the People & Culture team to develop a quality HR service, contributing to the development of new policies and processes and supporting the development of best practice within the People & Culture function.
- Assist in the development and implementation of a talent management strategy, working with the Head of People & Culture, supporting managers in the development and training of individual employees.
- Supporting on projects and activities to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation.
Key Skills & Experience
- SHRM qualification or equivalent relevant experience in a global organisation.
- Proven HR generalist experience including broad knowledge of US employment law and best practice, international experience desirable.
- Excellent commercial awareness coupled with the ability to identify practical solutions to people issues.
- Confident in using a variety of systems and analyzing and utilizing data to make decisions.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and adapt to a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
