Commercial Contracts Associate - Princeton, NJ (Currently 3 Days in office hybrid)
This is a multi-faceted role with responsibilities surrounding (1) commercial contracts with customers for sale of pharmaceutical products, while also supporting (2) general finance.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Commercial Contracts:
Under the direction of the Director, Commercial Contracts:- Manage assigned accounts relating to commercial contracts for Generic (Rx) business,
- Support assigned Specialty Rx (SRx) and Over-the-counter (OTC) accounts in addition to Rx Accounts.
- Prepare and review contract documents for assigned accounts, such as:
- Terms and conditions
- Offer letters
- RFP/RFI (Request for Proposal/Request for Information) submissions
- Mass customer notices (WAC changes, discontinuations, etc.)
- Other ad/hoc requests as they may arise
- Assist in contract negotiation and revision:
- with internal stakeholders (such as sales, marketing, management, legal, etc.).
- with external stakeholders (customers, etc.) to negotiate contract terms that align with Dr. Reddy’s policies and business objectives.
- Maintain/update various databases in salesforce with updates on pricing and terms/conditions.
- Disseminate information to appropriate internal parties, as required.
- Coordinate conference calls with the sales team for open bid / contracts updates, and provide contract summaries.
- Load pricing in SAP/Vistex, as needed.
- Work closely with overseas finance team on system updates; price/rebate/fee loading; chargeback queries; address other queries, as they arise.
- Support the business teams in new streams of business and in other items that may arise.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
- Finance:
Under the direction of the VP, Finance:- Serve as backup for credit review team to work with internal stakeholders to update and review credit limit blocks and adjustments for customers.

- Commercial Contracts:
Qualifications
Preferred educational qualification: B.S. in Accounting/Finance preferred.
Minimum work experience: 4+ years of pharmaceutical pricing and contracts experience required. Experience working on customer Requests for Pricing (RFP’s), drafting customer proposals and price changes, and experience reviewing business agreement/ financial terms and conditions review strongly preferred.
Skills & attributes:
- Attention to detail in reviewing business documents and pricing in Microsoft Word.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to quickly learn and use in house Bid management platform, embedded in Salesforce, as well as our enterprise management system, SAP, and Vistex, embedded in SAP.
- Strong communication (verbal & written) & interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem solving, organization and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail with proven ability to handle multiple projects/multi-task
- Ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
