The Director of Process Optimization leads the development and implementation of key initiatives to transform pharmacy operations to scale for growth within the Diabetes Division. This role will lead cross functional teams that focus on creating scalable and sustainable processes that create long term ROI and growth for the organization. This role will lead a variety of critical projects with the goal of building a standardized and scalable pharmacy platform.
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:
- Identifies and leads key business projects that focus on improving Pharmacy Operations (i.e.: technical and operational improvements, strategic planning, site planning
- Manage and execute cross functional initiatives and track deliverables to achieve desired outcomes Help identify, develop and lead the implementation of a pharmacy scorecard that supports the performance and growth key performance indicators
- Leverage data effectively to inform opportunities and scope of key projects and assess if the solutions are having an impact Work closely with Pharmacy operations to determine project scope, timelines, and overall execution plan
- Uses critical thinking and problem-solving skills to achieve departmental goals and prioritize effectively
- Integrates industry best practices and evidence-based solutions into programs and standards of care.
- Effectively manages operating and functional teams to ensure achievement of organizational, goals, strategic plan, and mission in line with our DIRECT values.
- Accomplishes project results by communicating expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
- Establishes annual goals and objectives for the department based on the organization’s strategic goals.
- Responsible for achieving organizational performance and retention goals, including timely completion of performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop the project plans and scope of programs and to align on budgetary needs.
- Work with mid-level managers to create daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly?key performance Indicators.
- Work with the pharmacy team to develop workflow processes that optimize the patient experience, improve efficiencies, and maximize growth of the pharmacy channel
- Assesses and set goals for all related metrics including productivity, denial management, days sales outstanding, accounts receivable turnover, accounts receivable aging composition, account volume per office, etc.

- Develop and maintain working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by the company.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and function within the guidelines of HIPAA.
- Completes assigned compliance training and other educational programs as required.
- Maintains compliance with AdaptHealth’s Compliance Program.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, public administration, or relevant discipline from an accredited college required, Master’s degree preferred
- Seven (7) years of relevant work experience required in business management systems, process improvements, or project management
- Five (5) years of management experience in related position is preferred
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license in the state of residence
