PACCAR WINCH Inc is a wholly owned subsidiary of PACCAR.  PACCAR Winch Inc manufactures high quality industrial winches, hoists, and drives for the oil/gas, construction, utility and specialty markets.   We have locations in Broken Arrow and Okmulgee, Oklahoma.  Our business is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Mechanical Engineer.  This position is an office-based position working in a team environment located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Job Summary:

The Mechanical Engineer will be an expert in hydraulic components and systems and be responsible for engineering design, development, and production support of PACCAR Winch product lines that include winch, hoist and drive units for the industry leading BRADEN, CARCO and Gearmatic brands.  This role is located at PACCAR Winch headquarters in the Tulsa, OK area and offers professional development and access to global opportunities in a challenging, high-performance environment where you’ll be able to achieve a rewarding career that reflects your individual talents and aspirations.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:        

• Develop the design of major hydraulic components for complete projects of varying magnitude and scope.
• Maintain test specification database including winch hydraulic parameters for end-of-line test stands in both Broken Arrow and Okmulgee production facilities.
• Coordinate and complete projects and design efforts with other groups and departments within the company.
• Direct and conduct necessary research incidental to design, and apply engineering techniques gained through study or experience, frequently requiring independent evaluation.
• Collaborate with external customers to verify hydraulic integration and function of winch product meets expectations.
• Complete design projects and manufacturing process changes from planning, calculation, and design analysis, design, testing, evaluation and implementation necessary for successful project completion.
