Architecture Project Lead

The Opportunity:

In this role you will serve as deputy to the contractor lead supporting the Chief Architect, providing backup to weekly and monthly status reporting, receiving client requests, tracking new tasks in the team’s work breakdown structure, and managing the team’s agile process.

As a Project Lead, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. You are the primary interface to the prime contractor for Critical Design and Architecture Review (CDAR) process compiling content and maintaining the currency and confidence levels of the technical documents that result from Architecture activities, including Executive Views. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, an experienced Architecture Project Lead who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication. 

On our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs. With your experience, your will oversee the Architecture task Intake Process, including Intake Form quality assessment, coordination of approval, and review meetings and ongoing tracking on request status. You will respond to ad-hoc tasking from the client and collaborate with other stakeholders to develop recommendations.

You Have: 

  • 10+ years of experience with project management

  • Experience reporting and tracking resolution of issues with the Cameo Enterprise Architecture tool

  • Experience managing Information Technology projects

  • Experience facilitating meetings, capturing meeting minutes and action items for the Chief Architect, and tracking action items to completion

  • Experience providing quality assurance reviews for technical documents

  • Experience in tracking costs, schedule, and performance progress

  • Knowledge of life cycle and project management methodologies

  • Experience in tracking costs, schedule, and performance progress

  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks

  • Public Trust

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, or Business

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience supporting a federal client

  • Experience implementing electronic health records

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
