We are looking for an exceptional leader who is passionate about the Customer Experience, who thinks/acts globally, and who has the ability to contribute major new innovations in the industry to join us. You will lead a team of Planning professionals and continuously raise the bar on standards of excellence while experiencing a wide range of problem-solving situations, strategic to real-time, requiring a combination of Business, Finance, and Technical Acumen. You will own the roadmap of the Capacity Planning Program across Global Services in collaboration with Business Intelligence and Data Science teams. You will empower Capacity Planners to deliver plans for hiring and staffing across Global Services that will allow organization to scale to customer demand in the coming years.
Key job responsibilities
You collaborate and influence business owners and executives, support thoughtful and data-driven decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly-evolving environment. You bring excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be an integral part of the business team and will partner closely with a broad range of stakeholders across Operations, Recruiting, Finance, HR, Workforce Management, Deals, and Pricing teams. You actively recruit bar-raising talent, and continuously develop your team, and constructively mentor the within the AWS community. You demonstrate strengths in problem solving, analytics, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask. You identify, resolve, or provide guidance to resolve complex data integrity issues and have a track record of improving controllership through streamlined mechanisms to reduce risk.
Key job responsibilities
• Use data to identify disruptive ideas and provide advice to business leaders across the organization.
• Drive accountability across Capacity Planning Organization, Operations & Strategy teams through implementation of consistent mechanisms.
• Drive creation of new tools and processes that enable Leadership to diagnose the business and achieve operational goals.
• Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of operational systems and structures for facilitating collaboration within a dynamic organization.
• Create inclusive spaces for collaboration that foster trust and honor diverse perspectives and experiences.
• Oversee Planning function and influence technical design and requirements of Capacity Planning solutions across Business Intelligence and Data Science while overseeing continuous innovation and communication to both your operations & other business partners.
• Lead change management, strategic planning, and/or project management preferred
