Engineering Intern (Summer 2026)

The Geoprobe Systems® Engineering Internship offers rising seniors practical, real-world experience in a hands-on engineering department. Engineering interns work alongside machine and tool engineers to design, produce, and test components that are in need of improvement or need created for Geoprobe® machines.  Ideal candidates have hands-on shop experience or have mechanical aptitude and find satisfaction in working on physical projects.

What You'll Do 

• Aid in development of projects and the making of components for that project
• Work with staff engineers to review overall objectives of a project or new part design
• Utilize time in the shop to develop a 3D model in SolidWorks out of available materials
• Alongside team members in engineering, machine, and fabrication departments, build and test the final product
• Make repairs to parts/machines/fixtures that need improvement
• Learn how to conduct in-ground testing using Geoprobe® rigs. New concepts or changes require field testing.
