What will you do
The Senior Demand Planner is responsible for developing SKU-level operational forecasts for products within an assigned portfolio in support of the Integrate Business Planning (IBP) process:
Key Responsibilities
- Generate, maintain, and improve SKU-level forecast in SAP APO Demand Planning for open stock and display codes in order to meet MAPE & Bias targets
- Analyze statistical forecasts, historical orders and shipment data, current POS trends, trade inventory data, and promotional activity information to develop the best possible demand plans for new & existing products
- Support the IBP process by leading Pre-Demand Reviews and providing recommendations for forecast improvements to the commercial organization
- Proactively communicate demand changes and background of the changes to the Supply Planning organization
- Interact regularly with cross-functional partners including Marketing, Customer Strategy, Sales Operations, CPFR, Finance & Supply Planning

Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
- A minimum of 4 years’ business experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of Excel (i.e. vLookups, pivot tables) is required.
- The ability to work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist is required.
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in supply chain management or supporting supply chain, preferably manufacturing, distribution, customer service and/or planning is preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of SAP is preferred.
- Forecasting preferred
- Experience in the Consumer industry or other FDA regulated industry is preferred.
- APICS certification is preferred.
- Lean, Six-Sigma or Process Excellence training and/or certification is preferred.
