Full-time Salary Position plus benefits.Located in Albuquerque, NM. Working out of our Corporate Office.
Description: This position will sell on behalf Heritage Corporate Office to penetrate the various Business TravelCorporate room market segments. The position requires total account management to achieve weekly/monthly sales booking goals and actualized room nights. The rooms sales manager will be responsible for working directly with established room accounts to develop room revenue for the hotel, aggressively solicit new accounts, and nurture and capture incremental room nights from established accounts.
Responsibilities
- Preparing contracts
- Preparing and presenting effective proposals
- Managing client database
- Rev Maxing Business
- Monitoring client correspondence
- Maintaining well organized documentation
- Routine correspondence with clients on the phone, e-mail, and outgoing mail
- Travels to the properties on a routine basis
- Ability to communicate and compute statistical data to company DOSMs, General Manager,
- Corporate leadership.
- On occasion will attend National tradeshows, sales missions and other relevant activities associated with specific market segments.
- Conducts and schedules site tours for visiting meeting planners.
- Conducts sales calls on regular basis
- Maintains sales goals
- Maintains market segment as assigned by the VP of Sales & Marketing.
- Contributes to a positive workplace environment by demonstrating superior customer service skills in dealing with internal and external customers, speaking positively when referring to the
- Heritage Hotels & Resorts, and acting and speaking in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
- Develop, execute, and update an action plan against existing and new accounts to achieve and exceed sales quotas within the assigned market segment

Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent plus two years related experience and/or training.
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to learn industry database software including Delphi and Opera.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to meet sales goals
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility related to job tasks when required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of the hospitality industry
