Job Summary
The Director of Creative Services leads the strategic vision and execution of Comcast Learning’s visual and video support services. This role ensures that all learning experiences are visually compelling, brand-aligned, accessible, and meet the highest standards of quality. The position also oversees the contract design workforce, ensuring seamless integration of freelance and contract-based talent into the resourcing process.Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead the Creative Services team in delivering high-impact visual, and video content across learning programs.
- Own and evolve ULearn’s Accessibility Guidelines, ensuring all learning content meets or exceeds compliance standards. Partner with instructional designers and tech teams to embed accessibility into templates, platforms, and workflows.
- Define and maintain Comcast Learning’s brand identity across all deliverables, including templates, marketing materials, SharePoint/PowerApp sites, and video content.
- Establish and enforce quality assurance (QA) standards for all creative outputs, including checklists, review protocols, and usability testing to ensure a seamless learner experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align creative strategies with business goals and learner needs.
- Manage creative services contract workforce operations, including sourcing, onboarding, assigning deliverables, and evaluating performance of contract-based creative professionals.
- Provide creative direction and sign-off authority on branded collateral, including sizzle reels, thumbnails, and event materials (e.g., Leaderfest, Spirit of Comcast).
- Support inclusivity initiatives through design practices and visual storytelling, ensuring representation and inclusivity in all learning materials.
- Allocate resources across strategic and BAU projects, balancing capacity and timelines.
- Represent Creative Services in business planning meetings and strategic forums.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team of designers, editors, and multimedia specialists.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
