The Opportunity:

As the Financial Operations Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the FinOps operating model. Your responsibilities will include leading the development, execution, and maintenance of the FinOps operating model, including the development and execution of a FinOps stakeholder engagement and success plan. You will develop user-focused journey maps, recommended improvements, long-term operating model roadmap, status, and execution. You are responsible for shifting the FinOps team toward user-centric design principles, ensuring that all processes and systems are designed with the end-user in mind collaborating closely with FinOps, Business Services, and Delivery Hub leaders to ensure alignment and buy-in across all levels of the organization. You will partner with upstream and downstream EO and business stakeholders where appropriate to ensure alignment and buy-in, fostering a collaborative and cohesive working environment. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

How You’ll Contribute:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.

• Continuously identify and implement improvements to the FinOps operating model, focusing on efficiency, effectiveness, and user satisfaction.

• Use data and analytics to drive decision-making and measure the success of the FinOps operating model.

• Provide training and support to the FinOps team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.

• Prepare and present regular reports on the status and performance of the FinOps operating model to senior leadership.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with financial operations

• Experience with managing a team

• Experience with using financial software and tools

• Ability to analyze and problem solve

• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently

• Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
