We are looking for a collaborative and highly motivated Senior Accountant to support the success of our growing team of healthcare administrators at Woven Care. Reporting directly to our VP of Finance-Corporate Controller, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation Range:
- $70,000 - $90,000
Location (hybrid):
- Remote with occasional on-site requirements (Must reside in CO)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supported by an Accounting Assistant, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions including managing the monthly financial close process and preparing financial statements and variance analysis in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring compliance and conformity with GAAP.
- Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journals, receipts, and invoices.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement improvements while ensuring an appropriate environment of internal control.
- Lead daily accounts payable and disbursement function including oversight of vendor onboarding and vendor changes.
- Ensures timely and accurate filing of payroll, sales and use tax reports, and business license renewals.
- Oversight of multi-state payroll function and review of payroll reports prepared by team members.
- Assists with the annual financial statement audit, and prepares requested documents for review.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the Accounting Assistant fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Contributes to the successful completion of various financial projects and initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 3-5 years of demonstrated accounting experience
- Public accounting experience or experience in healthcare finance is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
