SALARY RANGE: $75,000--$84,000 based on aligned experience up to six years

STATUS/CLASSIFICATION: Full time, benefits eligible, exempt, in-person position (Denver, CO)

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Senior Manager of STEM, AI, and Partnerships  reports to the Director of STEM and Student Experience and leads in our work to develop increased access to our STEM, AI, and Creative Core Programs as well as fostering industry and community connections to our programs. This role dedicates at least 50% of time to AI strategy and partnerships and the remaining time to strengthening DSST’s STEM and Creative Core programming.

They will lead mission-critical work to:

  • Support schools to implement high-quality STEM, AI, and Creative Core programming.

  • Build and strengthen industry and community partnerships in AI and STEM.

  • Serve as the liaison between Home Departments to ensure all schools have access to systems that support robust programming and equitable access in STEM and AI.

  • Collaborate across teams to support the buildout of certificate pathways in STEM, AI, and Creative Core programs.

  • Develop strong materials and branding for our programs that support student recruitment and community engagement work.

AI Strategy and Partnerships: (approximately 50%)

  • Lead the development and execution of DSST’s AI strategy to ensure students are prepared for 21st-century careers.

  • Collaborate with school leaders, teachers, and central teams to identify opportunities to integrate AI tools and concepts teaching and learning.

  • Develop and manage partnerships with AI-focused industry leaders, higher education institutions, and community organizations to bring authentic learning experiences to students and staff.

  • Pilot AI tools that align with DSST’s vision for student learning, while ensuring appropriate evaluation and feedback loops.

  • Facilitate professional development for teachers and leaders on the use of AI in instruction and operations.

  • Support the implementation of AI pathways and certificate opportunities for students across the network.

  • Serve as a thought leader on AI for DSST, staying current on trends, tools, and policies to ensure our programs remain forward-thinking and equitable.

Developing and Maintaining External Partnerships:(approximately 20%)

  • Develop systems through which external partnership opportunities in STEM and AI can flourish in our schools.

  • Manage existing partnerships to continue to thrive across the organization.

  • Recruit and support relationships with advisory board members to influence the program vision.

  • Collaborate to host network-wide showcases of student work in STEM, AI, and Creative Core to build the authenticity and visibility of our programs.<
