Sr. SAP Project Manager (Remote)

Overview

• Tier One Technologies is looking for a Sr. SAP Project Manager for our US Government client.
• This will be a 100% remote Contract-to-Hire position.
• Must be a US citizen.
• SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.

Responsibilities

• Take projects from the original concept through final implementation.
• Interface with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.
• Define project scope and objectives.
• Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
• Conduct project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
• Manage the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
• Provide technical and analytical guidance to project team.
• Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
• Work on high-visibility programs, or mission critical aspects of assigned program(s).
• Oversee the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or is responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.

Qualifications

• A degree from an accredited College/University in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in Project Management or related field, preferably in the area of software application development and/or related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge in SAP HCM HR modules including OM/PA, eCareer, EHS ect.
• Proficiency in SDLC practices.
• Expertise in facilitating Agile teams.
• Prior liaison experience between business and technical teams.
• Ability to re-prioritize work based on changing business priorities
• SOX Controls & Compliance experience is a plus,
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening, criminal history, and credit checks.
• Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
• Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
• Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
