The Research Associate (RA) will work with the PC and PI on a large PCORI funded multi-site RCT. The RA will have to have a working knowledge of excel and redcap in order to run reports for the PC and PI. Additional duties include, nut are not limited to:

• Work directly with the data coordinating center at Medstar Health Research Institute (MHRI).

• Attend meetings at the request of the PC and PI.

• Help the team train new RAs and students.

• Help with things like regulatory submissions and IRB documentation.      

Work Interactions

Activities performed by the RA will directly support the progress of the project. The RA will report directly to  the PC and PI.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required

• Previous experience working on clinical trials

• Studies of similar sample size and budget would be helpful.

Technical Qualifications or Specialized Certifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Knowledge of research methods will be helpful

• RA will be required to maintain human subjects protection, HIPAA and ICH Good Clinical Practice training certifications upon hire

Pay Range

The projected hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $22.50 - $27.50. Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
