Natcast (short for The National Center for the Advancement of Semiconductor Technology) is a new, purpose-built, non-profit entity created to operate the National Semiconductor Technology Center (NSTC) consortium, established by the CHIPS Act of the U.S. government.

Enterprise Applications Integrations and Operations Manager, Enterprise Applications 

In this role, you will be a key member of Natcast's Enterprise Applications team, responsible for managing the integration of various enterprise applications and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing our technological infrastructure to support Natcast's mission of advancing U.S. leadership in semiconductor design and manufacturing. 

Every day, you will oversee the integration of enterprise applications, manage operations, lead projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system interoperability and efficiency. Your work will be instrumental in creating a robust technological foundation that enables Natcast to drive innovation and collaboration across the semiconductor ecosystem.

Natcast is a trailblazing non-profit entity established under the CHIPS Act to operate the National Semiconductor Technology Center (NSTC) consortium. As a key component of the CHIPS and Science Act, Natcast is dedicated to advancing semiconductor R&D in the United States, convening government, industry, and academia to address the most challenging barriers to technological progress in the domestic semiconductor industry. 

The Integration and Operations Manager plays a vital role in ensuring that Natcast's technological infrastructure supports our mission-critical activities and enables seamless collaboration across our diverse stakeholder network. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the integration of enterprise applications, ensuring seamless data flow between systems 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and design effective solutions 

  • Manage the implementation of middleware and API solutions to enhance system interoperability 

  • Monitor and maintain the performance of enterprise applications to ensure optimal uptime and functionality 

  • Develop and implement operational processes and best practices for application management 

  • Coordinate with IT support teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues 

  • Lead projects related to application integration and operational improvements 

  • Create project plans, set milestones, and manage resources effectively to meet objectives 

  • Work closely with business units to gather requirements and understand integration needs 

  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment 

  • Analyze current processes and systems to identify opportunities for optimization and increased efficiency 

  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions 

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes, operational procedures, and system configurations 

  • Prepare regular reports on system performance, integration status, and project progress for the Director of Enterprise Apps 

 

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience 

  • Proven experience in application integration and operations management 

  • Strong knowledge of integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi) and methodologies (e.g., REST, SOAP) 

  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
