Description

Project description: The research assistant will participate in the development of algorithms and software for medical image analysis, with a focus on cancer imaging.

Main research field: Medical image analysis algorithms

Tasks to be performed: Develop software (mainly python-based) and evaluate their performance on different medical imaging datasets.

Group and complement: Group 3 Level U

Dedication and working hours: Part time (10h/week).

Planned remuneration approx: 8.193,22 € gross per year

Financing fund: Ajut AGAUR DI 2021 063, en el marc del Pla de Doctorat Industrial, impulsat per l’Agència de Gestió d’Ajuts Universitaris i de Recerca (AGAUR) de la Generalitat de Catalunya.

Qualifications

Requirements: 

• High school-FP2.

The expected start date is November 18th 2024, the job is in Barcelona.

Selection criteria: The selection of the candidates will be made through evaluation of the curriculum and, where appropriate, with the carrying out a test and/or interview. Valuation will be as follows:

• Academic Training (0-40 points).

• Other professional training and experience, adequacy to the proposed profile (0-40 points):

• Programming skills (python), knowledge of image processing / computer vision methods.

• Other merits (0-20 points):

• Good level of English.

The minimum score to pass the selection process is 70 points. The candidate with the highest score in the selection process will be offered the job.
