Rockmart Maintenance Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Key Responsibilities: 

• Ensures food safety, quality and legality
• Supervises maintenance in accordance with plant policies and procedures
• Promotes safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency
• Improves equipment reliability through the use of Predictive/Preventative Techniques
• Responsible for installation of new equipment and/or overhaul of current equipment
• Works with outside vendors and contractors in scheduling audits, and inspections
• Conducts employees’ transfers, disciplinary actions, evaluations, and training
• Follows all proper protocol when issuing POs and requisition forms in Chase
• Meet budgetary goals while maintaining plant equipment and appearance to the highest standard
• Assists in other departments as needed
• Promotes and assists in professional and personal growth of all plant employees

Physical Requirements:

• Extensive mobility and excellent physical condition; ability to lift 75 lbs.; ability to operate all necessary hand tools; ability to kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, etc. to reach items in need of repair; ability to drive forklift, yard dog, and truck; tolerance to all extreme weather conditions, such as very hot or very cold temperatures
