Job Title:  Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

Position Overview:

As a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) at Intapp, you’ll work on an AI-powered, industry-specific cloud platform that transforms professional and financial services firms. Collaborating with senior engineers, technical leads, product managers, and designers, you’ll have ample mentorship opportunities for skills development and career progression. You’ll be part of an innovative team, enhancing existing software and developing new products using React (JavaScript) and Azure Cloud services, contributing to core features and product innovation within established frameworks. This is a hybrid role that requires the successful candidate to be at the Lisbon office 2 to 3 days/week.

What you will do:

• Lead the design, architecture, and development of scalable backend solutions, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
• Implement complex Front End solutions using React (JavaScript), HTML5 & CSS3.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Develop scalable, reliable cloud-native applications on Azure Cloud Platform.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, driving best practices for security, performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Lead discussions on cloud infrastructure, CI/CD improvements, and system integrations.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and proactively resolve technical challenges.
• Mentor junior and intermediate engineers in best practices, code quality, and cloud optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and drive alignment on architectural decisions.

What you will need:

• Deep undertstanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+) features (typically 8+ years)
• Strong grasp of React.js, HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience with modern layout techniques, responsive layout, component based architecture, JSX, hooks, state management and lifecycle
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript or another strong typed superset of JavaScript
• Experience with Azure or other major cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD Tools: Github actions, Azure Pipelines and awareness of how to deploy and work in a cloud infrastructure
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in English.
