ROLE MISSION:
Embodies the company statement as ambassador of the brand image in the store, ensuring that Stone Island Client Promise becomes real. Store Manager strives to reach excellence in business performance and key qualitative objectives always going beyond expectation, inspiring, managing, and coaching the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
CLIENTELING
- Collects Client's valuable information throughout the journey
- Proactively engages in 1to1 activities to nurture relationships with Clients, with a special focus on VIC
- Coaches Client Advisors to develop 1to1 Clienteling activities
TEAM MANAGEMENT / DEVELOPMENT
- Actively searches and recruits talents to fit Stone Island attitudes
- Plans staff scheduling according to business and shares scheduling with the Store team and Corporate
- Coordinates, trains, and coaches the staff to guarantee their professional growth
- Ensures the team is always motivated, competent, informed, aware of corporate policies and stimulated to be up-to-date
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE
- Has strong knowledge of the collection
- Provides insights on fabrics and product specificities
OPERATIONS
- EWnsures the image of the store is in line with corporate standards and that the staff is aware and aligned to this standard
- Guarantees the safety of the products and valuable materials in the Store and the stockroom
- Deals with administration and accounting responsibilities
BUSINESS
- Drives sales, achieving individual results and contributing to the team ones
- Maximizes sales opportunity by leveraging cross-selling
- Develop business strategies to build the community, increase store traffic, and optimize profitability
- Guarantees excellent Client Experience and supervises the sales process, ensuring the Client Promise is understood, embodied and applied
- Has knowledge and understanding of the local market and is informed about any events in the city/organized by competitors and shares this information with corporate
- Reports all the relevant information to the retail operations manager and corporate
- Ensures that delicate situations regarding customer complaints and the overall sales process are handled according to the standards
REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive (5 to 7 years) experience in Fashion Retail/Hospitality including management in a mono/multiband boutique, preferably in a luxury and contemporary retail environment - buying experience is a plus
- Knowledge of curretn fashion trends and competition in the market
- Ability to drive the business by both achieving personal sales goals and overall team goals
- Ability in dealing with people and solid background in staff recruitment and development
- Excellent client service, interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills
- Strong social ties to the local community and PR skills
- High level of Visual Merchandising competences
- Strong brand ambassadorship in line with brand image
- Very trustworthy, flexible and autonomous
- Fluency and sophistication in local language, proficieny in English - additional language is a plus
- Openness to new technologies. Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Clienteling, and payment systems and tools
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Stone Island includes a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $95,000 per year to $110,000 per year.
