About the role
Overview:
As a Technical Product Leader focused on Cloud and DevOps, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive solutions that align business needs with technology. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, UI/UX designers, data engineers, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of scalable and efficient software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Cross-functional Leadership: Act as a bridge between the development team and business stakeholders, with a strong emphasis on technical aspects.
- Architecture Alignment: Collaborate closely with DevOps and cloud infrastructure teams to ensure the product's architecture aligns with business goals.
- Backlog Management: Prioritize features and technical debt, manage the product backlog, and ensure that the infrastructure meets scalability, security, and performance requirements.
- Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of software solutions, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and solution designs.
- Technology Selection: Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to support the implementation of software solutions, ensuring alignment with project requirements and organizational standards.
- System Integration: Define and oversee the integration of various software components, third-party systems, and APIs to create cohesive and interoperable solutions.
- Prototyping and Proof of Concepts: Develop prototypes and proof of concepts to validate technical feasibility and demonstrate proposed solutions to stakeholders.
- Observability Implementation: Design and implement observability solutions, including monitoring, logging, and tracing capabilities, to ensure visibility into platform performance, health, and behavior.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to solution architecture and propose mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Performance Optimization: Collaborate with developers to optimize the performance of software applications, conducting performance analysis and implementing necessary optimizations.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of solution architectures, design decisions, and technical specifications.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software engineering and architecture, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience working as a Technical Product Manager or Owner, or in a similar role within software engineering.
- Strong technical background in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and software architecture.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and product management.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Deep understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Expertise in digital platform architecture, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native technologies.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C#, Java, or Python, with a strong foundation in software development.
- In-depth knowledge of relational databases and NoSQL databases, including design, optimization, and management.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related services.
- Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog, Dynatrace, etc.
- Proficiency in using Git for version control, branching, and merging strategies, ensuring effective collaboration and code management across development teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
- Healthcare domain experience is a plus.
