The compensation target range for this role is:

$24.75

The Quality Inspector will provide support to Production staff and help ensure that high-quality products are delivered to our customers.

Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Take ownership and assist in core QC functions and associated activities relating to Incoming, In-Process and Final Product Control   

  • Accurately complete documentation to indicate acceptance or rejection of parts and equipment   

  • Assist and document the investigation and resolution of problems initiated through nonconformances, corrective action, customer complaints, and/or audit findings   

  • Assist in development of test methods and inspection plans   

  • Assist in validations of test methods, equipment, processes   

  • Liaison with Purchasing for supplier interactions (receiving inspection)   

  • Assist in data gathering, analysis and reporting of department metrics as required   

  • Investigate and communicate supplier quality issues / failures (receiving inspection)   

  • Perform standard and non-standard dimensional and/or functional tests using standard inspection tools and test equipment   

 

Required Skills, Education, Experience: 

 

  • High school diploma required   

  • 2+ years Quality experience in a manufacturing environment   

 

Physical Requirements 

 

 

Physical activities may occasionally include:  

  • Remaining in stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods of time.  

  • Adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions. 

 

Physical activities may constantly include:  

  • Communicating with others to exchange information. 

  • Repetitive motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. 

  • Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of work assigned. 

 

Environmental Conditions may occasionally include:  

  • Noisy open office environment 

  • Noisy production environment
