Building solutions for a better life. The Bosch Building Technologies division is a leading international provider of systems, solutions and services that increase the safety of people, buildings and property and also contribute to greater comfort, energy efficiency and sustainability.

Bosch Building Technologies is divided into the international product business and the regional system integration business. Currently, the three product areas of video systems, access control & intrusion detection systems and communication systems as well as the associated cross-divisional functions within the division are to be set up as an independent unit and then further developed as a sustainable core business by a new owner.

• International and interdisciplinary cooperation: As Strategic Buyer - Indirect Purchasing, you will be part of the new company to be set up in the future and thus contribute to a globally networked team of around 4300 colleagues operating in over 50 countries.
• In your position you will be responsible for the analysis of the category to be managed as well as the development, definition and implementation of the material field strategy in cooperation with the relevant internal business partners.
• You are accountable for the commercial aspects of supplier management in your category, e.g. for the preparation and execution of tenders, price negotiations and contract negotiations with suppliers.
• The Global coordination in the assigned category / material fields are also part of your responsibilities.
• In addition, you will be in charge of providing strategic support to the regional purchasing teams to ensure consistency of the strategy
• Last but not least, you will take primary accountability for IT and development services above a defined value threshold.

Qualifications

• Education: completed university studies in business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable subject
• Experience and Knowledge: several years of professional experience in indirect purchasing as well as experience in material field
  and supplier strategy. Proven track record in achieving objectives and stakeholder management.
• Personality and Working Practice: Passionate, flexible and performance oriented with a high level of resilience and assertiveness. Strong team
  player with preference to work in international teams. Self-motivated, structured and bring an entrepreneurial mindset. You have a high affinity for crossdepartmental cooperation and international business
• Languages: business fluent in written and spoken German and English
