Flight Management Instructor

Job Description

CSCI Consulting is seeking a Flight Management Instructor to provide subject matter expertise and deliver high-quality training on Flight Management (FM) systems, tools, procedures, and processes. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated FM instructional experience, aviation expertise, and Air Operations Center Command and Control (AOC C2) operational knowledge to ensure training supports mission success.

Responsibilities

• In-depth FM knowledge, experience, expertise and understanding of all current FM applications, tools, procedures and processes
• Instructor FM experience is required for all designated FM instructors
• Aviation experience and/or FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate
• Air Operations Center Command and Control (AOC C2) experience

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to effectively instruct complex/technical material
• Knowledge of planning, organizing, directing, operating and evaluating Air Force training programs
• Knowledge/understanding/use of ISD methodology required for all training development, administration and maintenance
• Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving
• Ability to work with clients to understand their needs
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional presence

Preferred Skills

• Military instructor aircrew experience with familiarity of military airlift and aerial refueling operations
• Bachelors’ Degree in a related field
• Skills in effective communication, both verbal and written
• Capability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
• Ability to maintain a positive relationship with customers and other vendors
• Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies
• Possess motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value
• Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
• Strong customer and vendor relationship skills
• Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies
• Motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value
• Past experience working with a federal agency 
• Department of Defense experience is a plus!
