About the role

ABOUT HUB:

In a rapidly changing world, HUB advises businesses and individuals on how to prepare for the unexpected. As one of the worlds' largest insurance brokers, our focus is dedicated to providing our customers with the peace of mind that what matters most will be protected-through unrelenting advocacy and tailored insurance solutions that put our clients in control. Our growing team of professionals across North America represents a broad, deep and one-of -a kind aggregation of entrepreneurs and leaders recognized for their excellence throughout the insurance community.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Account Manager I (AM I) manages a defined book of insurance business and provides professional, courteous service to clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and HUB colleagues. The AM I may work independently, as part of a team, or alongside a Producer to provide client advocacy, support client retention, and write new accounts or lines of coverage as needed. This role is expected to follow HUB's best

The essential duties contained in this job description reflect general details as necessary to describe the principal functions of this job, the level of knowledge and skill typically required and the scope of responsibility. It should not
be considered an all-inclusive listing of work requirements. Individuals may perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences, equalize peak work periods or otherwise to balance the

Policy Review, Certificates & EPIC Maintenance

  • Review policies and endorsements for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all coverage terms align with client requirements and HUB’s quality standards.

  • Process certificates of insurance for new and existing clients in a timely and accurate manner, verifying that endorsements match certificate request requirements. Appropriate use of third-party resources to assist will be required.

  • Input and maintain accurate data in EPIC and ancillary systems, ensuring electronic client records are current, complete, and consistent with Broker Standards.

Super Team Support

  • Actively support Account Manager IIs, Senior Account Managers, and Account Executives within the Super Team model, taking on delegated tasks and providing assistance as workloads and priorities require.

  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment by sharing coverage knowledge, client insights, and workflow expertise with less experienced team members.

  • Participate in Monthly Super Team Meetings and All Team Meetings, contributing to team communication, learning, and continuous improvement.
