We’re looking for a System Administrator who specializes in supporting DoD clients to help us build out and sustain a network of computers across multiple platforms.  

As a System Administrator on our team, you’ll ensure that the current infrastructure has up-to-date patches. You’ll learn how to help clients overcome challenges through monitoring and performance management. You’ll analyze problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. You’ll combine your technical knowledge and communication skills to turn metrics into information and articulate their meaning.

This is an opportunity to gain experience in Windows OS, Linux, or Software Deployments. We focus on growing as a team, so we’ll share techniques, work through challenges, and develop new methodologies together. Work with us and resolve daily challenges as we improve DoD's daily operational missions.

You Have: 

• 2+ years of experience working in military environments

• Experience with Linux operating systems

• Experience with installing and maintaining enterprise software deployments

• Knowledge of computing and networking principles

• Knowledge of security protocols and implementation methods

• Knowledge of malware variations

• Knowledge of vulnerability scanning concepts, security monitoring and logging

• Top Secret clearance

• HS diploma or GED

• Ability to obtain Security+ Certification within 3 months of start date

 Nice If You Have: 

• 2+ years of experience in the system or server administration field

• Experience with working on classified systems

• Experience with implementing security protocols and procedures, as directed by an ISSO

• Experience working with networking professionals to accomplish connectivity between servers and SAN storage, servers and workstations, and servers between sites

• Ability to manage servers and workstations on-site

Clearance:   

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
