Tree Care Crew Lead

Caldwell Tree Care is hiring an experienced Lead Climber to join our team. This role is for a seasoned professional who can step in and lead a crew from day one.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage a tree crew on daily job sites
• Climb and prune trees using ropes, harnesses, and professional climbing systems
• Safely perform complex tree removals and rigging operations
• Operate chainsaws, chippers, and other tree care equipment
• Plan each job with safety and efficiency in mind
• Communicate clearly with crew members and support a strong safety culture
• Leave each job site clean and completed to company standards

What We’re Looking For

• 10 or more years of experience in the tree care industry
• At least 5 years of experience leading a tree crew
• CDL Class A or B required
• Proven climbing experience using modern systems and rigging techniques
• Strong leadership and decision making skills on job sites
• Ability to step into a crew lead role immediately with little to no training
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
