NorthStar Academies in Palm Springs, FL is seeking a Community and External Engagement Liaison (CEEL) for Palm Beach Preparatory Charter Academy!
Job Summary:
The Community and External Engagement Liaison (CEEL) is a part of the team that serves as the liaison to the Business, Government, and industry, elected officials, and the greater community. The CEEL represents Achieve Learning to community partners, and manages internal activity surrounding student recruitment, enrollment, and retention. The CEEL is expected to work independently while consistently delivering excellent customer service. The CEEL must be organized, personable and interested in learning new skills.
The CEEL works alongside the instructional team in order to meet the needs of the school and for the school to remain compliant by providing consultative and collaborative expert services in support of the instructional program. The building of relationships is a critical component of this environment, the team works together to identify student needs that may be barriers to success.
Essential CEEL Responsibilities:
- Provide coordination for the development and administration of the enrollment program;
- Facilitate planning with area high schools to meet with counselors, teachers, students and parents;
- Facilitate the development of marketing and other support materials to attract and inform students of enrollment opportunities and employment options;
- Collaborate with the Enrollment Team and Principals to build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with local high schools, community organizations, and resource providers;
- Organize and coordinate all efforts, communications and activities associated with community outreach, engagement, and resource opportunities;
- Serve as point of contact for key community leaders, elected officials, surrounding neighborhoods, civic groups, local school districts, and local government;
- Cultivate interest in the program through dynamic involvement with local civic organizations, religious groups, community groups, and other relevant organizations and clubs;
- Participate actively in local Chambers of Commerce, business, professional, and education organizations as determined through market research and administrative leads;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure activities are completed in a timely manner and appropriate documents are collected, submitted, and approved;
- Build a database of contacts through local and regional involvement;
- Prepare program of events and timetables for promotional events;
- Recruit and supervise teams of Student Recruiters engaged in canvassing, attending school and community events, etc.;
- Enroll students at each site, meeting with family and student to ensure a smooth transition to the program;
- Create and ensure supply of enrollment packets;
- Maintain and manage students waitlists;
- Ensure organization and accurate data entry of all files required;
- Monitor FTE counts and the ramp up activities to ensure appropriate and representative attendance during this critical time;
- Tracks and analyze enrollment and class data to identify trends, foster improvements in decision-making and trouble shoot enrolment issues;
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Achieve Learning Achievement Team, Principal, or other members of management;
