Course Description:

B.A. with specialization in a field relevant to the teaching of L2 English or Higher Certificate in L2 English Teaching. Two years of experience teaching ESL at the college and/or university level. Previous experience teaching this course or an equivalent ESL course. Experience with heterogeneous group.
An acceptable level of education/experience may be considered equivalent to the required training and/or demonstrated experience. Requirements:

This workshop is primarily designed for professors who regularly attend meetings and who would like to refine their debate strategies in their second language. This is an intensive workshop during which the participants will practise communicating their ideas and opinions in a mock meeting. Learners will develop their ability to use common words or phrases related to the language and conventions of a business meeting. During a mock meeting, they will have the opportunity to share their ideas, express their agreement/disagreement with the proposals of their colleagues, reach a consensus and confirm the decisions and actions to be taken.  July 10-14 juillet, 2024, Monday to Friday 9:00am to 11:00am.  Please note that this course is given online (virtual mode).
