This is a remote, field based position. Preference for the person selected to reside in Colorado. In addition will provide support for Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Washington, Alaska and Idaho. Expected up to 80% travel.

This is a 36 month fixed-term, full time position. You will receive healthcare benefits, PTO, 401k contribution, paid holidays and sick time. This position is eligible for a company car.

The Opportunity

The Roche Support Network is dedicated to providing exceptional support to customers.  As a Field Applications Specialist:

  • You will travel to demonstrate your expertise in technical repair and installation for Roche product lines.

  • You will serve as the primary liaison and expert for consultative, administrative, and technical installation matters.

  • You will support the local support team in identifying, analyzing, and executing complex hardware instrument implementations. 

  • You will diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures while minimizing installation delays.

  • You will maximize customer satisfaction with Roche installations and promote effective communication within the team.

  • You will oversee and assess the quality of installation teams' work and provide feedback for improvement.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Cell Biology or Biochemistry, or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, and/or relevant experience

  • 3 years of previous experience in a clinical laboratory or IT in a clinical lab environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to learn and remain current on Roche solutions across various fields, including chemistry, immunology, molecular, life sciences, and IT solutions, while keeping up with industry trends.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, along with project management experience.

  • Strong customer consultative skills, including advanced scientific knowledge, exceptional customer engagement, and the ability to foster strong customer relationships. 

  • Ability to coach and mentor team members and work independently as a field-based individual contributor.

Additional Information

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Colorado is $66 - $123k. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
