Statement of Job 

  • Expected to follow and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices at all times
  • Report to appropriate lead any areas of processing that are out of food safety or quality specification
  • Weigh and record data throughout the production process on a timely basis
  • Interpret the data collected to assure that all customer guidelines and criteria are met
  • Perform Pre-Operational Inspection and conduct ATP Swabbing for line release
  • Support programs that are in place to ensure food safety i.e. EMP Program, Sanitation Program, GMP, Allergen Control Program etc.
  • Verify Production CCP Completion
  • Conduct oil FFA and Bake/Fry test in accordance to the manufacturing specification
  • Conduct Foreign Material Investigation and corresponding documentation required
  • Support Lead in completing Ingredient and Finished Goods HOLD actions and assist in investigation.
  • Support and assist in training new QC and cross-function team members
  • Display appropriate work ethic in the workplace and group settings, providing a positive influence on employees
  • Complies with work rules and standards set forth in the employee handbook
  • All other duties assigned

 

 

COMPETENCIES/ QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in QA/QC or manufacturing practices
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend documents relating to the job
  • Possess adequate math skills to perform work satisfactorily, including adding, subtraction, averaging and counting.
  • Must work effectively and as part of a cross-functional teams
  • Must be organized and be able to make analytical decision.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ ADA STATEMENT: May need to lift or move items up to 50lb.  Must be able to bend, stoop and reach as required to complete the job function.  Ability to stand and walk a majority of shift. Must comply to Plant Safety and wear proper PPE as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: N/A

POSITION TYPE/ EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

  • Full-Time, 12 hr with 2-2-3 schedule format
  • Day shift hours: Approx. 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Crews A / B) 
  • Night shift hours: Approx. 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. (Crews C / D)
