ROLE SUMMARY

Pfizer's Global Business Services (GBS) Financial Services (FS) organization delivers best-in-class accounting, finance, and compliance operations globally for the Pfizer enterprise.  The GBS FS organization is a high performing team comprised of more than 1,300 colleagues located in 8 sites around the world.

The Vendor Center of Excellence team within the GBS Transformation & Project Management Tower (T&PM) is responsible for master data quality and governance across an enterprise-wide organization delivering Best in Class performance of quality and compliance to support the organization and Pfizer’s future scale.  The Vendor Center of Excellence (CoE) Sr. Analyst will be a Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) for the Vendor Master and Third-Party MAPP functional areas, master data, business processes, and operations as part of the Global Vendor CoE team within the Enterprise Master Data Services organization in T&PM.

This role will be a key resource engaging global stakeholders and supporting cross functional coordination with different teams and business partners across the enterprise organization.

The Vendor CoE Senior Analyst role is an individual contributor role with a requirement to influence in a matrixed environment. This role will be involved with stakeholders and internal customers.  In addition, a key portion of cross functional teamwork support of the Vendor CoE team and Global Lead. This role will have both BAU and project / initiative related responsibilities.

The main areas of responsibility are:

  • Subject Matter Expert for Global Vendor Master Process, Operations, Enabling Technology and Compliance
  • Support Global Strategic Initiatives and Integrations
  • Support Vendor Master Fraud Prevention & Risk Management
  • Stakeholder / Business Partner Engagement
  • ERP Systems Administration

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

By applying subject matter expertise and regional knowledge, the Vendor CoE Senior Analyst will support the Vendor Master and Third-Party MAPP functional areas within the context of applicable policies, procedures, processes, and guidelines. Primary responsibilities critical to the performance of the role are:

  • Subject Matter Expert for Global Vendor Master Process, Governance, Operations, Enabling Technology and Compliance
    • Support local and global Vendor Master Management teams with expertise on applicable global process and strategy. 
    • Support large base of key Stakeholders and Business partners
    • Manage business requirements for functional area ensuring compliance and alignment to global data integrity and processes
    • Translate Global Vendor Master requirements to enabling technology systems
    • Create and maintain documentation for Global and regional teams’ processes and governance
    • Ensure compliance with system accesses and security for Global Vendor Master functional area
    • Identify, lead, and implement Continuous Improvement opportunities via business processes and system enhancements
    • Provide training and communications both internally and externally as required

  • Support Global Strategic Initiatives and Integrations
    • Manage complex organizational initiatives for Vendor Master processes, data, and systems related to Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures
    • Support system integrations and deployments for adherence to Vendor Master data and process integrity and compliance including large scale data conversions
    • Lead regional and global cross functional projects from Vendor Master perspective as needed
    • Facilitate business process changes, requirements management, change management and implementation ensuring compliance to policies

  • Support Vendor Master Fraud Prevention & Risk Management
    • Drive proactive risk management of Fraud Prevention for Vendor Master functional area
    • Partner with Global Security & Cybersecurity teams to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
    • Perform investigation and remediation of fraud events and attempts at Vendor Master
    • Support Fraud Prevention Governance and Awareness initiatives

  • Stakeholder / Business Partner Engagement
    • Responsible to support a large base of key stakeholders and business partners at various levels. 
    • Support businesses’ requirements and provide process consultation for functional area ensuring compliance and alignment to global data integrity and processes.

  • ERP Systems Administration
    • Translate functional area’s requirements into enabling technology systems ensuring compliance with system accesse
