About the role:Foodsmart is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to drive the technical and operational aspects of data integration between our platform and health systems' Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, particularly Epic. You will be instrumental in developing features that integrate data for credentialing, billing, clinical documentation, and scheduling. Your role will involve working closely with the company’s client-facing teams (sales, client development, implementation) and our health system partners to understand specific EHR and data integration requirements. In parallel, you will collaborate with our product and engineering teams to develop a technical and operational plan to ensure seamless integration and data flow that meets our clients' needs. By building this crucial integration functionality, you will play a major role in enhancing our capability to support healthier food choices and improved health outcomes for our users. You will be:

• Integrating with EHR/EMR and other referral  systems, particularly Epic.
• Working with APIs and API documentation.
• Possess polished communication skills and experience in all types of client interactions.
• Working with preeminent health systems and other partners to define and scope integration needs to enable bi-directional data exchange.

You have:

• 5+ years experience in a software engineering role.
• Demonstrated track record in successfully managing EHR-related product integrations.
• Expertise in managing end-to-end development and delivery of technical software products, from conception to successful launch, ensuring seamless execution throughout the product lifecycle.
• Degree or background in a technical or quantitative field preferred (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering).
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, enabling you to effectively communicate product vision, strategy, and results to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in the healthcare and EHR domains, particularly in the context of Epic, offering valuable insights to enhance the user experience and cater to customer needs effectively.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving alignment towards achieving shared objectives.
