Sr. Food Technologist

Job Description

As the Senior Food Technologist, you will provide application support for ICL bakery chemical leavening portfolio.

 

I’m interested! What will I get to do in this position? 

• Promote ICL Food Specialties to bakery customers
• Support development of new product applications to support our bakery business
• Conduct research and analysis of current and new products to determine functional and organoleptic properties and performance in finished applications
• Contribute to initiatives for new product development and new formulation development
• Work jointly with Sales, Marketing and Commercial Team to promote our portfolio to new and existing customers
• Regular customer and technical visits
• Support projects utilizing stage gate processes
• Monitor and report project progress
• Collaboration with Global Bakery Team

What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role? 

• Bachelors degree in Science related field/Food Science and 0-2+ years of industry experience
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Experience with food application testing and chemical leavening helpful
• Documentation, organization, and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary Range: $59,150 - $109,850

Annual Bonus Target: 5%, subject to plan provisions.
