A Day In The Life Of Our ML Data Intern:
- Understand the clinical and application background
- Data collection: collect data for research and development
- Data organization: organize data in a format that is easy to search, and select data that fit certain criteria
- Data annotation: use existing methods or experiment new methods to annotate anatomical structures on medical images
- Draft documentation such as work instructions and reports
- Work cross functionally with Design Engineering, Clinical Engineering, and external collaborators.
About You:
- A college degree or enrolled college student in science or engineering
- Passion for working in a team aiming to improve the lives of people
- High sense of responsibility, patience and attention to details
- Strong desire to learn new knowledge and find creative solutions to problems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good computer knowledge and skills with standard SW tools such as Excel and Google Sheet
- Knowledge in CT human anatomy especially in chest anatomy is a plus
- Basic knowledge about medical imaging (X-ray, CT) is a plus
- Experience with medical image annotation tools (eg ITK-snap and 3d Slicer) is a plus
- Basic understanding of machine learning is a plus
- Knowledge of Python is a plus

Pay Transparency
The Pay Range for this position is listed. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location of the posted role. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed based on candidate experience level and/or specialized skills. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position's total compensation package.
California Pay Range$24—$31 USDNoah Medical may offer remote, hybrid, or onsite work arrangements within the state of California depending on the specific team and/or role where applicable.
