We’re currently hiring Registered Nurses at Westminster Communities of Florida.  We have several vibrant senior life plan communities within the Westminster Communities of Florida family.  As a national leader in senior living, Westminster Communities of Florida has been serving older adults with excellence since 1954. We’re a not-for-profit organization with a strong fiscal foundation, dedicated to a mission of service. With more than 7,000 residents and 2,500 team members, we offer a full continuum of care including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, home care, pharmacy services, and affordable housing.

Shifts Available:  We have full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts available providing flexibility to accommodate your schedule.

Compensation and BenefitsFor this position, the expected hourly rate is $34.95 - $ 41.11 per hour, depending on qualifications. Plus, many shifts offer a shift differential.    Benefit information for full and part time team members can be viewed HERE.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist in planning resident care by following physician orders.
  • Implement resident care based on physician orders.
  • Evaluate care and communicate with doctors for updates of orders.
  • Administer medication, IVs, give shots, update patient records, provide emotional support, patient education, basic diagnostics, and other patient procedures for residents.
  • Receive and transcribe orders from attending physicians.
  • Monitor blood glucose, temperature, and blood pressure when necessary.
  • Respond to all emergencies.
  • Schedule doctor’s appointments and coordinate transportation for the residents. Includes scheduling labs and transcribing lab results.

Qualifications you possess:

  • Current Florida Registered Nurse license
  • Current CPR/BLS certification  
  • One year of long-term care desirable
