The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University’s traditional campus is seeking Social Media Assistants. This role will work with the Senior Director of Communications on a number of projects that incorporate social media, videography and outreach to representatives throughout campus.

Essential duties and responsibilities of these positions include the following:

• Create content (written, photographic and video) for use on a variety of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok).

• Participate in social media brainstorming sessions

• Take photos and videos at campus events

• Participate in meetings and create content for external experiential learning partners including but not exclusive to Bank NH Pavilion, Granite State Comicon/Double Midnight Comics and Wrestling Federation of America

• Design social media graphics

Minimum Qualifications:

• Full-time enrollment on campus

• Preference will be given to candidates with undergraduate majors in Marketing or Graphic Design

• Preference will also be given to candidate with graphic design experience, videography experience and Adobe Premier familiarity

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
