**We are specifically looking for engineers with Golang expertise. We are also open to those with Java expertise if willing to switch to Golang.**

Zscaler is hiring an Application Developer to work on delivering a multi-tenant, scalable and secure SaaS platform with a microservices architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement highly scalable microservices.
• Design and implement backend application interfaces for data and services
• Design and develop integration solutions
• Collaborate with product team to define software requirements for programming effort
• Lead/Contribute to the entire Feature development lifecycle, all the way from design, implementation, production operations.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers to build SaaS products for large-data processing.
• Write optimized code using efficient algorithms.

              

Must have qualifications:

• Strong Golang/Java programming, Data structures/Algorithms & debugging skills in cloud environment. 
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, data structures and software engineering best practices
• Excellent programming and data structure skills.
• Hands-on experience with popular public cloud services infrastructure offerings such as AWS, GCP, Azure.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores.
• Experience developing microservices using Kubernetes on any of the large cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP.

Nice to have qualifications:

• Experience in developing multi-tenant/Enterprise SaaS products.
• Experience in API Management, API design, performance optimization, client architecture.
• Experience with event-driven and streaming data applications is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of web security best practices
• Thorough understanding of agile development and continuous integration/delivery patterns
• Strong operating system, virtual machine, and container knowledge, Good working knowledge of Unix/Linux/Windows systems and OS internals.

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range$178,500—$200,000 USD
