Customer Service Representative I - Riley Neurology

• Schedule:  Full Time, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

What You Will Be Doing: 

• Take approximately 60 - 80 inbound calls per day (this number can fluctuate greatly depending on the time of year).
• Identify patient needs, clarify information, research, and provide support.
• Send messages to the appropriate pools based on the patient’s needs.
• Build trust and engage with families by actively listening and responding compassionately.
• Schedule appointments with the correct providers and in the appropriate clinics.
• Attend (paid) monthly staff meetings at 7:00 AM every third Thursday of the month.
• Optional: check voicemails for a week based on a rotation schedule – requires the representative to clock in 15 minutes early and allows them to leave 15 minutes early during their scheduled week.

What You Will Need: 

• A High School Diploma/GED. 
• Call center experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and solution oriented. 
• Familiarity with Cerner/Power Chart or any ambulatory system is of interest, but not a requirement.
• Experience working in a healthcare environment is also a plus, but not required.
• Customer/Patient focus and adaptability to different personality types.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time efficiently.
• Working knowledge of computers.
