Developmental Pathways (DP) has an opportunity for an Associate Director of Program Excellence to join our Program Operations Team. This role will lead initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, compliance, and customer service across our program departments.
This role is ideal for a dynamic leader who thrives in complex environments, excels at cross-functional collaboration, and is committed to elevating service delivery and staff experience. You’ll play a key role in optimizing systems and processes, supporting innovation, and guiding teams toward future-focused business practices.
This hybrid role offers a 4-day, 40-hour workweek, Monday – Thursday and includes the flexibility to work remotely, as well as the opportunity to collaborate in-person at our headquarters office in Aurora, CO, and/or at off-site locations.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and support strategic initiatives in partnership with program directors and staff
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement through workflow and process optimization
- Drive measurable improvements in compliance, quality, efficiency, and scalability
- Evaluate current systems and workflows to identify inefficiencies and support change management
- Serve as a liaison between program teams and shared services to ensure seamless project coordination
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures across departments
- Provide leadership coaching and operational guidance to program leaders
- Use data analysis and strategic planning to inform decision-making and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and contribute to policy development
- Align departmental goals with organizational strategy and communicate objectives clearly
Qualifications
What You Bring
Required
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 5 years of management experience (project/program management)
- At least 2 years of experience in strategic operations or project management
- Minimum 3 years in the human services field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and other operational tools
