Seasonal Customer Support Parts Associate

Description
Starting Pay: $16/hour
40 hours/week
Seasonal position up to 120 days
This position will collaborate with the Supervisor to become the authority of all product parts and serve as a liaison between the various departments where parts are involved. They will help, as needed, under the direction of each department’s preferred guidelines and procedures.
Liaison between the following departments and expected functions with each:
Customer Service
- Aid in breaking down product units to verify what parts are replaceable and which are not focus on assembly, functionality, troubleshooting, replaceable parts, and instructions on those
- Provide Customer Support team options for parts substitutions where available
- Maintain Airtable Parts List and One Stop Shop
- Respond to tickets tagged regarding parts questions
Compliance
- Run weekly mis-ship report and provide to all departments involved in improving
- Help facilitate bi-weekly phone calls with the Factories
- Supply requested parts reports
Marketing/Photography/Videography/Website
- Supply pictures of parts for website, parts list, Factories, etc.
- Aid in creation of parts guides, fix kit guides, i.e. 1916, etc.
- Help the video team with product assembly videos, support videos, and internal videos for department trainings
- Verify and work with web team as to what parts need to be added and removed from the Blackstone Website
- Collaborate on the creation of a new part website structure
- Upload manuals to website
Purchasing
- Create and place parts for purchase orders with Factories
- Assist building parts order guides, complete with images, quantities, and anything else the factory requests
- Aid CS Parts Supervisor in tracking all parts orders – this includes communication with the purchase team, sales teams (domestic and international), tracking containers, foreseeing trends in parts to adjust orders as needed
- When applicable, assist in compiling urgent parts orders that require shipment via air freight
- Create priority parts lists bi-weekly for Factories
Design/Product Managers/Engineers
- Provide feedback and help improve exploded drawings from the Factories making them more manual, agent and customer friendly
- Assist in providing support for the goal of universalizing parts wherever possible to lessen inventory needs and duplication
- Give assistance in testing products, verifying product and parts measurements, weights, and data
- Coordinate with life cycle engineer and CS Representatives for returning problematic parts and/or units
Warehouse/Shipping
- Aid in verifying parts arriving on containers to ensure what received matches what was ordered, and the quantities are correct
- Part full product from either new inventory or damaged as needed to obtain parts for back ordered items
- Help with decisions of when to recycle or dispose of aging or excess parts
- Restock parts
- Assist Replenishment team regarding parts clarifications and questions
- Collaborate to establish new barcode system with pictures, barcodes, etc.
- Support the Warehouse store employees as needed
Requirements
- HS Diploma
- Experience working in a Warehouse, Parts, or CS Department
