About the team + role
We are looking for Content Designers to join us on our mission to help build the most intuitive product experiences and make financial wellness accessible to everyone. The ideal candidate is passionate about crafting product content that enables users to understand the world of finance and all it has to offer. This is an outstanding opportunity to join an award-winning growing team.
The Brokerage team is the core of Robinhood and is responsible for many of our founding products. As a member of this team, you'll be at the epicenter of all the action, orchestrating and crafting the very essence of what defines Robinhood.
As the Staff Content Designer, your ownership will be paramount in building upon the great design experiences Robinhood is known for. You'll have the opportunity to craft innovative experiences that serve the investing needs of our customers, empowering both new and sophisticated investors with the tools and knowledge to make informed decisions.
The role is located in the following office locations (Menlo Park, CA; Bellevue, WA; New York, NY; Denver, CO; Chicago, IL; or Washington, DC) which will align with our in-office working environment. What you’ll do
- Partnering with design, product, and research to build delightful user experiences and shape the product roadmap
- Engaging throughout the product development process to improve the overall experience and ensuring consistency
- Creating and advocating for approachable language that best communicates our mission externally
- Developing frameworks, guidelines, audits, and processes to help define and improve product content at Robinhood
- Balancing customer experience and business impact with speed and quality
- Incorporating user research into content decisions for product experiences
- Ensuring high quality content for our products in terms of simplicity, education, and delightfulness
- Sharing your work with other Content Designers and providing feedback during weekly crits
What you bring
- Demonstrated years of experience in UX writing or content design experience
- Eagerness to shape product direction and vision from ideation to post-launch
- Experience defining, tracking, and reporting on content metrics and ability to communicate this efficiently to the team
- Ability to adapt quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment with shifting constraints
- Experience collaborating with designers, product managers, and user researchers
- Familiarity working with compliance and legal teams during the content development and approval process
- A portfolio or selection of writing samples and past work to share
