IU Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Lead to oversee our communications and customer service team. This role is responsible for guiding daily operations, ensuring exceptional patient and provider interactions, and supporting team development. The Team Lead will manage escalated concerns, monitor service quality metrics, and collaborate across departments to enhance communication workflows. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered service.
Key Responsibilities:
Our Communication’s Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality patient interactions, and supporting team performance. They handle escalated concerns, coach and mentor team members, monitor service metrics, and collaborate with clinical departments to streamline communication. Their role is crucial in maintaining a patient-centered service culture.
Preferred Experience:
- Hospital/Medical Office Experience
- Medical Terminology
- 3-5 Years of Healthcare Experience
Requirements:
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 3-5 years of customer service experience required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical coding required.
• Ability to type 30+ words per minute.
• Requires working knowledge of computers.
