Location: Kansas City, MO
Schedule: Full-Time Days
Salary Range: $91,624 – $128,294 annually
Starting pay typically around $100,000 for new managers, based on experience

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated RN Nursing Manager to lead our Medical Telemetry unit at a highly regarded healthcare facility in Kansas City, MO. This is a prime opportunity for a registered nurse with strong leadership experience in acute care to advance into a high-impact role.

As the Medical Telemetry Manager, you will be responsible for managing a high-acuity progressive care unit, promoting evidence-based practices, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This leadership position offers the chance to work in a collaborative setting focused on patient outcomes and staff development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily clinical and administrative operations of a 25-bed medical telemetry unit

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient care standards, and regulatory guidelines

• Guide quality initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and clinical performance

• Manage unit staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation for optimal care delivery

• Mentor and support the professional development of nursing staff

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care leadership experience (Charge RN, CNC, House Supervisor)

• Minimum 5 years of total RN experience

• Active RN license (Missouri or compact state)

• BLS certification (required upon hire)

• ACLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)

Unit & Team Details:

• Unit Size: 25 beds

• Team Composition: RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and monitor techs

• Support System: Strong collaboration with charge nurses, peer managers, and Director of Acute Care
