About your team

In this role you will be part of a team, acting as interface between the whole FFB Technology team and the 2nd and 3rd line of defense teams (LoD) in FFB: Information Security, Risk, Compliance, BCM, Outsourcing Management and Internal Audit. The team bridges the 2nd LoD requirements into other Technology teams, looking after application delivery and further IT services to FFB’s business.

Common tasks of the team are participation in internal and external IT audits, running operational control activities to ensure all IT processes are in compliance with FFB’s regulatory requirements and overseeing. The team oversees and manages Technology risks according to established standards and procedures.

The team also works in projects - mainly focusing on regulatory changes in the company's Technology estate. The team helps improving IT processes and further develop FFB’s IT landscape.

About your role

You will work as one out of 12 team members in the FFB IT Governance Team within the FFB Technology department. Main aspects of your role are:

• Collaborate closely with colleagues from other Technology teams and 2nd and 3rd line teams within FFB
• Continuously manage and maintain FFBs written guidelines and procedures in the Technology area
• Be part of Technology audits from internal and external auditors
• Coordinate FFB’s ITSCM requirements by helping application teams to run their disaster recovery testing and respective documentation
• Implement and improve existing Technology compliance controls
• Keep abreast of regulatory developments within and outside the company

You will report into the IT Governance team lead role.

About you

• have in depth knowledge of German and international financial service regulation (e.g. MaRisk, BAIT, DORA, NIS2, Target2, GDPR, Swift CSCF, …)
• worked in an oversight role in the financial industry
• understand audit standards and practices as well as control frameworks
• have robust knowledge about information security best practices including policies, guidelines and standards
• have solid knowledge and experience with IT system landscapes (on premise, cloud, networks and APIs) especially regarding security and compliance
• have very good analytical and problem resolution skills
• are an empathic team player
• have strong communication skills across hierarchical levels and teams
• are comfortable to communicate effectively in German and English language (both written and oral)
