In this hands-on leadership role, you'll provide direct support to participants while assisting with the day-to-day operations of a residential program. You'll help supervise and develop staff, coordinate schedules, support individualized service plans, promote community integration, and ensure high-quality, person-centered services.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and serve as a role model for staff through coaching and mentorship.
- Assist with supervision, training, scheduling, and development of residential team members.
- Support implementation of individualized service plans, behavioral supports, and healthcare needs.
- Promote participant independence, choice, dignity, and community inclusion.
- Assist with program operations, participant funds, staffing budgets, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with families, guardians, clinical teams, and community partners.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities and help oversee operations in the absence of the Residential Director.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum one year of supervisory experience preferred.
- Prior experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or related human services experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
